The exhibition "Tom Sachs: Retail Experience" by contemporary artist Tom Sachs will be held at ISETAN THE SPACE on the second floor of the main building of Isetan Shinjuku from September 29th to November 30th.

Tom Sachs' first job was creating window displays for Barneys New York in the United States. This exhibition is being held in a department store, a place that holds a special meaning for him, making it a very special event for Tom himself.

What are the must-see highlights of this exhibition?

■Artistic Window Displays (September 23rd - October 13th)
Special window displays will be on display to commemorate the opening of this exhibition. Eleven windows at the Isetan Shinjuku store will be accessible to everyone, displaying artworks on various levels and products designed by Tom.

■Venue: Design of ISETAN THE SPACE on the 2nd floor of the Main Building
The exhibition space itself was designed by Tom himself. Using his iconic plywood, the venue itself can be considered a Tom work.

■Valuable Exhibits and Items for Sale
The exhibits include rare and special items that fans and non-fans alike will not want to miss. The art section includes a rare "Moon Surface"-themed chess set created in the 2000s. The products section includes new furniture pieces, as well as numerous other precious items specially created by Tom Sachs.

■Reservation-Only Events Also Held
The reservation-only event, starting on October 2nd, is also not to be missed. During the event, two video works will be screened in the venue. Those who answer the prepared questions correctly will receive an unreleased Tom Sachs dog tag.
