[Product Features]

The blue anodized titanium oscillating weight and the bright red accent color on the sapphire crystal case back express the morning glow of Mt. Iwate.

The greatest feature of this model is the vivid oscillating weight that can be seen through the see-through case back. The vibrant blue oscillating weight, inspired by the morning glow of Mount Iwate as seen from Hachimantai in Iwate Prefecture, where Grand Seiko Studio Shizukuishi, the manufacturing site of mechanical models, is an appealing color achieved by applying an anodized coating to titanium material.

The titanium used for the anodized oscillating weight is highly elastic and absorbs vibrations, reducing deformation due to impacts and the transmission of shocks to the movement and oscillating weight bearings, ensuring practical use with peace of mind. The inner periphery of the sapphire crystal case back is accented with a red accent, evoking the bright red of clouds at sunrise.
