Itoitex, whose motto is "Bringing the power of washi paper to everyday life," will be exhibiting at the sleep-themed event "GOOD SLEEP FAIR," held at Ginza Mitsukoshi from February 16th to 25th.

Itoitex produces washi thread using a patented device* that produces thread from paper in an integrated process. By using recycled polyester for the core of the thread and covering it with washi paper, the surface that comes into contact with the skin is almost entirely made of washi paper, achieving higher absorbency and quick-drying properties than 100% washi paper while maintaining the same texture. ITOI washi cloth bedding, made from this washi thread, is breathable and insulating, making it comfortable to use all year round. The numerous cavities in washi paper act similarly to charcoal, absorbing odorous components and preventing odors from accumulating, maintaining a comfortable sleeping environment.
