Jessica Alba, once known as the "sexiest woman in the world," is now a mother of two. Known for her commitment to environmental protection and charity work, in 2012 she founded "The Honest Company," a company offering safe, stylish, eco-friendly skincare, baby products, and household goods. All of the products are "safe for her own daughters to use," and are also reasonably priced. Her book, "The Honest Life: Living Naturally and True to You," which introduces her lifestyle, was published in mid-March. The book offers tips on diet, interior design, beauty, and child-rearing for a fun, healthy, down-to-earth, and practical eco-friendly lifestyle that even busy working mothers can easily adopt.
In contrast to the down-to-earth Alba, Oscar-winning actress Gwyneth Paltrow, who is also known as a "foodie" and whose parents are a film producer and an actress, released a cookbook for detox diets, "It's All Good: Delicious, Easy Recipes That Will Make You Look Good and Feel Great," in early April. In order to stay in shape, she follows a strict diet that does not include alcohol or caffeine, as well as eggs, dairy products, meat, fish, or processed foods, and in the book she introduces delicious and easy detox recipes.
