The foundation's purpose is to preserve and promote documents and archives related to the creations and achievements of the brand's founder, Salvatore Ferragamo, and to provide opportunities for young people to learn and develop. Plans include collaborations with various organizations to support education and publish publications, the establishment of awards and scholarships, and collaborations with the Ferragamo Museum. Wanda Ferragamo, Salvatore's wife and president of the foundation, is working on this project together with her children.
