Matohu's Omotesando flagship store and the concept shop House@Mikirihasshin, directed by Yamaguchi Sota, will hold their first joint event, "Shitsurai at Home," from June 17th to July 2nd.
Shitsurai (room decoration) is a traditional Japanese practice of decorating a room to welcome guests or mark seasonal changes. This time, both stores will visit each other's stores and display their respective items in a specially prepared space. In addition to Matohu jackets (65,000-76,000 yen), shirts (36,000-38,000 yen), and tops (13,000 yen), limited-edition items created in collaboration for the event will also be available. This event will offer suggestions for incorporating "Shitsurai" into the home and an opportunity to experience the richness of white space in everyday life. During the period, if you collect stamps every week while shopping at both shops, which are both about a five-minute walk away, you will receive a limited-edition novelty gift. In addition, a reception party will be held at both stores from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on June 16th.
