Starbucks will be releasing new reusable cups and new colors of the "Starbucks Campus Ring Notebook" made from recycled milk cartons.

The reusable cups being released this time come in four striking artistic prints.
A total of four designs, created by three winners of the participatory "Art Cup Contest" held last fall and one Starbucks GAHAKU* member, will be printed on "reusable cups" made of polypropylene resin and sold.

These reusable cups will be rolled out sequentially from September 2nd. The first in the series is the "Whale Shark Reusable Cup," shown in the center left of the photo. This invigorating illustration features fun sea creatures swimming happily around a siren.

The second series is the "Reusable Cup Plants" (pictured left). It will go on sale from September 9th. The design is inspired by free-flowing tropical plants, and the calming colors will make you feel relaxed.

The third series is the "Reusable Cup Siren Tale" (pictured center right). It will go on sale from September 16th. The design features Starbucks' iconic siren hidden within, making it seem as if you can hear it singing.

The fourth series is the "Reusable Cup Coffee Cherry" (pictured right). This cup was designed by GAHAKU and will go on sale from September 23rd. The graphic, which depicts the delicate, lustrous colors of the coffee tree's leaves and fruit, evokes the depth of autumn.

Each cup in this collection is 350 yen (473ml). They are available at Starbucks stores nationwide (excluding some stores) and the Starbucks online store. They will be available until sold out, so if there's something you like, don't miss out!

(※) GAHAKU: A partner (employee) working in a store who conducts internal awareness activities such as teaching how to draw chalk art and drawing art for new products in advance to share with the rest of the company. 16 people were selected from Starbucks stores nationwide at a selection meeting held once a year. As of August 2020, this is the seventh generation.

Next, we'll introduce the new colors of the original notebooks.

New colors now available for the sustainable "Starbucks Campus Ring Notebook," made from recycled milk cartons!
The "Starbucks Campus Ring Notebook," created in collaboration with "Campus" last fall, has been so well received that it's back this year. This time, it will be released in new colors, peach pink and navy, as well as last year's popular gray.

The "Starbucks Campus Ring Notebook" uses recycled paper for the front and back covers. Every day, Starbucks partners (employees) carefully wash, dry, and organize milk cartons, which are used by Starbucks partners (employees) at stores nationwide after serving drinks to customers, into a form that is easy to collect. Starbucks has been recycling milk cartons since 2010, and the amount of waste reaches 1,000 tons per year. By reconsidering milk cartons as a resource rather than waste, Starbucks is carefully breathing new life into them. With the goal of passing milk cartons from hand to hand, they are transformed into notebooks and returned to customers. A video documenting the recycling process is scheduled to be released on September 6th. This collection, which embodies Starbucks and KOKUYO's desire to envision a sustainable future together with customers, will be available from September 2nd. The color lineup includes "white," "gray," "peach pink," and "navy." Each is 480 yen, and all are A5 size. "Gray," "peach pink," and "navy" will be sold until stocks run out; only "white" will remain. Available at Starbucks stores nationwide (some locations excluded) and the Starbucks online store.
