Petit Pan, a children's goods brand that has been gaining attention and exhibited at the French interior design trade fair Maison & Objet, opened a pop-up shop on April 17th on the 6th floor baby and children's clothing floor of the Isetan Shinjuku Main Building. The shop will run until April 23rd.
Petit Pan is a French brand created by Belgian artist Myriam De Loor and Chinese creator Pan Gang. Currently, the brand operates three directly managed stores in Paris.
The brand focuses on oriental interior goods and fabrics influenced by Asian traditions and culture. Their nostalgic, retro-inspired pouches and bags are popular with both children and adults, and many purchase them for themselves. They also offer a wide selection of colorful fabrics, bias tape, buttons, and craft supplies.
In addition to these items, the pop-up shop will also feature new versions of their popular mobiles. The unique kite-like motifs, such as colorful fish, cicadas, and seahorses made from silk, have attracted attention in France, where the brand originates, and are also displayed in a gorgeous way at the pop-up shop.
A collaborative art event is planned for Isetan Shinjuku on April 20th and 21st (11am-1pm and 2pm-5pm each day), in which children will draw pictures on the spot, which will be finished by creators from "Little Artists" who will place them on "Petit Pain" dough and frame them.
