TSI Holdings launches owned web media with Condé Nast

Apr 23, 2013

The fashion web magazine "S Style" was launched on April 18th as an owned media for TSI Holdings' official shopping site "SELECSONIC."

The target audience is 35-year-old adult women who enjoy sophisticated fashion. It is edited by Condé Nast Japan, publishers of Vogue Japan and GQ Japan, and Vogue Girl creative director Ayumi Gunji serves as editor-in-chief. It is updated every Thursday.

The content consists of fashion photos and interviews with designers from brands featured in SELECSONIC's "DESIGNERS&SELECT" category. It also features behind-the-scenes videos from the shoots. Additionally, clicking on an item photo on the screen will take you to the e-commerce screen.

A spokesperson for TSI Holdings said, "It's been seven years since Selexonic launched, and we now carry a significant number of brands. This led us to create an online media outlet to better highlight brands with loyal fan bases or prominent designers. Currently, there are numerous e-commerce sites, and they tend to fall prey to excessive competition with reward points and free shipping. Instead, we want to beautifully represent brands through this online magazine and provide customers with the joy of shopping for fashion. It's updated weekly, so we hope you'll visit regularly. Currently, we feature a mix of brands, but in the future, we may choose to feature only a single brand."

Selexonic celebrated its seventh anniversary this spring and was relaunched on March 15th. It currently receives 13 million monthly pageviews.
