Nice to meet you, I'm Shinichi Osawa, a musician.
I've recently started a blog on FASHION HEADLINE.
Given the nature of the site, I plan to mainly post about cheerful and fun fashion topics, so I hope you'll enjoy it.
I also had a hand in selecting the bloggers, so please look forward to the lineup.
For this first blog, I had a hard time deciding, but I've decided to keep it simple and focus on my most recent purchases.
For me, the biggest event in SS13 was Hedi Slimane's return.
Looking back, I've been a fan of his clothes since he took over as director of Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche for several years from 1997.
After his time at Dior Homme and a hiatus, I'd like to applaud his achievement of taking charge of both men's and women's lines at his former label, Yves Saint Laurent.
This collection has a sophisticated feel, while also having a feel of being a preview and introduction.
I bought a few pairs of jeans and shoes. The slim silhouette is reminiscent of his Dior days, but the low-rise is less pronounced. In other words, they're more conventional, but ultimately, they're exquisitely refined and inimitable, making them a truly comfortable pair of bottoms.
