French dance music group Daft Punk appeared in Saint Laurent's advertising campaign, which has been attracting attention for featuring big-name musicians.
Daft Punk appeared wearing black sequined smoking jackets. They created a mix for Junior Kimbrough at Hedi Slimane's first Saint Laurent show (SS13 collection).
Daft Punk's collaboration with Hedi dates back to 2006, when the robot protagonist in Daft Punk's feature film directorial debut, "Daft Punk ELECTROMA," wore a Dior Homme leather jacket designed by Hedi.
Daft Punk also wore Saint Laurent in the music video for their first single in three years, "Get Lucky." The song is featured on their fourth album, "Random Access Memories," their first in eight years, which is scheduled for release in May and features contributions from Nile Rodgers, Pharrell Williams, and Kanye West.
Eddie's project, the "SAINT LAURENT MUSIC PROJECT," has featured musicians such as Christopher Owens, Beck Hansen, Marilyn Manson, Courtney Love, Kim Gordon, and Ariel Pink in advertising campaigns wearing Saint Laurent.
