A pop-up shop for recycled fabric brand U.C. TILE FABRICS will open in the women's bag section on the first floor of the Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store. The event will run from May 1st to 7th. The pop-up shop will feature original items, including the brand's iconic double clutch series, as well as several new tote bags and other styles. U.C. TILE FABRICS is a recycled fabric brand established by TAOS, a factory specializing in remaking secondhand clothing, that advocates "upcycling," going one step beyond "remaking." U.C. TILE FABRICS primarily utilizes leftover fabrics from remaking secondhand clothing from Europe and the United States that cannot be supplied to the apparel market due to size, condition, or design issues. Taking advantage of the prints, patterns, and exquisite textures unique to aged clothing, the brand primarily creates patchwork textiles from these materials, which are then used to create fashionable bags and accessories.
