From August 8th, the pastry shop "Patisserie SATSUKI" at Hotel New Otani's two directly managed hotels (Tokyo and Makuhari) will be selling the "New Extra Super Peach Shortcake," a limited-time sweet made with luxuriously in-season domestic peaches, available for a short period of time only. *Sales will begin on August 9th at Hotel New Otani Makuhari

The "New Extra Super Peach Shortcake" is the dessert with the shortest sales period of any of the "Super Series," which are only available when the main ingredients are at their peak flavor. The quality of the peaches delivered to the kitchen is rigorously assessed every morning, and only those deemed to be able to deliver the delicious flavor of the season to customers are used for this exquisite treat. There is also a special "Phantom Shortcake," limited to 20 pieces per day. This "Phantom Shortcake" will be discontinued without notice once the season ends, so don't miss out on this opportunity.

Each piece uses a whole peach! A variety of attention to detail has been paid to the taste of domestic peaches.


Each piece contains approximately one whole, carefully selected domestic peach, boasting a sweetness of over 13 degrees sugar. The peach is marinated in fruity lychee honey and topped with a peach wrapped in Yoshino kudzu, bringing out the peach's natural flavor. The batter uses the hotel's original blend of domestic white cereal and brown rice eggs from chickens raised on brown rice, resulting in a refreshing finish that preserves the balance of the peach's aroma and flavor. The fluffy, light cream, originally blended for this cake, with a clean finish, further enhances the delicate aroma and flavor of the peach, leaving a refreshing aftertaste that you can savor forever. Please enjoy the "New Extra Super Peach Shortcake," which will only be available for about two weeks during the season when peaches are at their most delicious.

The Grand Chef of Hotel New Otani Enjoy exquisite sweets created by Nakajima Shinsuke using popular domestic fruits carefully selected from around the country. During the Sweets Fair, an Instagram campaign will also be held where you can win a stay at Hotel New Otani (Tokyo), Makuhari, or Osaka.
