Marni will hold the "Marni Blossom Market" at its house studio, Lightbox Studio Aoyama, from April 3rd to 5th. This market, held to celebrate the brand's 20th anniversary, will feature limited-edition items designed especially for the occasion. Highlights include items featuring patterns from the brand's archives. Items include cloth bags, base holders, necklaces made from silk scarves, picnic mats, and wrapping paper. Other unique items include beautifully hand-painted leather sandals and animal sculptures handmade by a Colombian woman from metal and PVC. Workshops will allow visitors to customize necklaces and T-shirts using recycled materials. Additionally, a video installation by Brian Rea, whose work has been featured in The New York Times' Sunday Style, will be on display.
In addition, Marni is holding the "Marni Roof Market" in Hong Kong on March 14th as part of its 20th anniversary project. Proceeds from these events will be donated to medical treatment for Tibetan children, as well as the repair and maintenance of schools.
