PETIT BATEAU has been appointed a kids' sponsor of KYOTOGRAPHIE, the Kyoto International Photography Festival, and will support children's events and workshops. KYOTOGRAPHIE is an international photography festival held from April 18 to May 10. Works by 14 artists from nine countries will be displayed at 15 venues in Kyoto City. In conjunction with this, portraits taken by children and handmade totem poles will be exhibited in the main window of Fujii Daimaru and at Petit Bateau from April 20 to May 7. Meanwhile, on April 26, a workshop called "Make Your Own 'TRIBE' Album" will be held, where children will create a one-of-a-kind album. Children will try out unusual outfits and take photos of each other with instant cameras. In addition, a pinhole camera class for children will be held on May 5th, and on the 6th, an event called "Make Your Own Picture Book" will be held, where children can learn about photography and compile their work into a photo picture book.
