Louis Vuitton is pleased to present the Spring/Summer 2021 Men's Pre-Collection by Men's Artistic Director Virgil Abloh.

For the Spring/Summer 2021 Men's Pre-Collection, Virgil Abloh reinterprets the concept of a pre-collection in menswear. The clothes and accessories designed for Louis Vuitton communicate diversity, unity and inclusivity through a channel of nuance.

The period of each style's relevance is defined by the passage of time. In determining trends, one must look back before moving forward. This is where the pre-collection becomes a vehicle for reassessment. How can the Maison's intentions be made relatable to a wide audience? This was the starting point for the Men's Pre-Collection Spring/Summer 2021. The collection focuses on weather-conscious elements for everyday wardrobes, suggesting a dark palette evoking the depths of winter, reflecting its chilly release. Timeless designs based on the Monogram Flower appear throughout the collection, embroidered on a red shearling jacket, quilted on a green gilet, and lining a double-faced coat. Camouflage-inspired Monogram Leaves appear on jacquard trousers, denim trousers, and windbreakers. Reflecting the transition from winter to summer, the Monogram motif exudes a lightness—the multi-pastel crayon Monogram motif is inspired by the debossed LV initials on Virgil Abloh's desktop at the Maison's headquarters. Rain hats and berets open the door to freedom—symbolism and belonging—telling a story that permeates the essence of the collection.
