Piaget is pleased to announce the release of two tourbillon models from its Altiplano line of thin mechanical watches, each limited to 88 pieces worldwide.

Since the launch of the legendary 2mm-thin caliber 9P in 1957, the Altiplano has continued to evolve through innovative technology and the release of over 200 models, establishing itself as an iconic collection that represents Piaget's elegance and sets new standards.

The name Altiplano comes from the vast highlands of South America, where stunningly pure scenery unfolds. With its simple, round design and an astonishingly thin movement hidden within, the Altiplano is a signature watch boasting unparalleled technical expertise.

Piaget, a pioneer of thin mechanical watches, features the Altiplano Flying Tourbillon, a 4.6 mm thin, hand-wound Piaget movement. Its dial design features a figure eight, with the tourbillon at 2 o'clock and the time display at 8 o'clock. Measuring just 2.8 mm thick and weighing less than 0.2 g, the movement incorporates a tourbillon cage, three titanium bridges, and several other components as thin as a hair, making this a remarkable feat of exceptional watchmaking.

The new model is available with either a masterfully engraved white mother-of-pearl dial or a sunburst blue lacquer dial. Each watch is individually numbered, confirming its limited run of 88 pieces. The bezel and buckle clasp are both set with diamonds.
