Maison de FLEUR, a brand developed by Stripe International Inc., will be collaborating with the popular character Barbapapa, which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year, to sell collaborative items on its online store, STRIPE CLUB, from August 7th, and at Maison de FLEUR stores nationwide from August 8th.
Celebrating its 50th anniversary, Barbapapa is a beloved character from France known for his shape-shifting abilities and vibrant colors. For this collaboration, Barbapapa has been transformed into popular Maison de FLEUR products, in keeping with his ability to transform into any shape. Three items incorporating Barbapapa's theme of "family love" are available.
Maison de FLEUR's hugely popular ruffle handle tote bag features Barbapapa, Barbamama, and Barbabelle transformed into characters. The pencil cases, which have been transformed into the characters' appearance, come in a lineup of Mama, Dad, and the three sisters. The lining of both items is printed with a scene of Barbapapa giving Barbamama a Maison de FLEUR gift box. The multi-purpose case features a pattern of an illustration from the picture book "Barbapapa's Presents," in which Santa Claus gives presents to children.
