
Food artist Ayako Suwa will be performing a one-night-only installation at Roppongi Art Night, taking place today, April 25th. The installation will take place at the photography space "IMA CONCEPT STORE" (3rd floor, AXIS Building, 5-17-1 Roppongi, Minato-ku, Tokyo) from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
The theme for this installation is "Taste of Photography," and it will combine newly taken photographs with food to create a magical space. The installation will be a visual experience, a taste experience, and a taste sensation. The participation fee is 2,400 yen (2,200 yen for IMA magazine subscribers). One drink is included.
Ayako Suwa was born in Ishikawa Prefecture in 1976. She graduated from Kanazawa College of Art. In 2006, she launched "food creation," a food-themed artistic expression project. She has received acclaim for her work, including an exhibition at the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa, and the performance "Guerrilla Restaurant."
