Alexander McQueen's signature clutch bag, the Knuckle Box Clutch, is now available in a new SS15 edition (16 x D5.5 x H9.5cm / ¥300,000).
This season, inspired by antique kimonos, such as cherry blossoms and family crests, elements of Japanese culture can be seen throughout the collection. The floral decorations on this clutch, which are almost like objet d'art, also evoke a certain seductive, Japonisme feel. The edges of the petals are adorned with glittering crystals, making it the perfect accessory to add a touch of Japonism to any party look, just like a ring.
The box is crafted from lustrous silk satin. The gold-finished brass handle, true to its name, is shaped like a knuckle, allowing it to be held with four fingers.
