FENDI's iconic Mini Peekaboo bag has been adorned with an orchid (426,000 yen / H18 x W23 x D12cm). The orchid, a new signature design for FENDI, was first seen on the runway in the 2014-15 Autumn/Winter collection, and is embroidered in white, blue, and red. The playful graphic design shines against the chic, high-quality black nappa leather. This season's orchid is an extinct species found in an 1880 archive stored in the greenhouses of Sanssouci Palace in northeastern Germany. Karl Lagerfeld has brought this flower, which no longer exists, back to life as a graphic.
