●Highlights
The four new works being added to this exhibition have rarely been exhibited in Japan, making this an extremely rare opportunity. "Standing Odalisque with Brazier" and "Venetian (Rocaille) Armchair and Fruit" depict favorite motifs from Matisse's studio. Furthermore, "Woman in an Armchair" and "Standing Nude with Arms Raised Above Her Head" showcase Matisse's diverse expressions of the interior and female figure, the themes he explored throughout his life.

Please note that due to the realization of this exhibition of works on loan from overseas, there will be changes to the works on display from our museum's collection. Please contact us for more information.
