NARS will release a limited-edition collection, "Christopher Kane for NARS Collection," in collaboration with designer Christopher Kane, on May 15th. Scottish designer Christopher Kane is one of the fashion world's most sought-after designers, known for creating feminine looks with a modern insight. Since presenting his own show at London Fashion Week in the Spring/Summer 2006 season, he has twice been named Scottish Designer of the Year. He has also received numerous other awards, including the BFC British Collection of the Year and the BFC Vogue Designer Fashion Fund. In 2009, he was appointed creative director of Atelier Versace's diffusion line, Versus. This collection reflects NARS's bold beauty philosophy and Kane's unexpected and edgy aesthetic. Neon colors are used extensively to add energy to the look. The collection combines strength and style, balancing it with nude colors to create a neo-neutral look.

Regarding the collection, Kane said, "It's based on pieces from past collections that are our signature designs. These pieces naturally incorporate Christopher Kane's three theme colors: our standard bold neon, the brand's nude color, and the futuristic sparkle of iridescence. I wanted these colors to express that in the purest sense."

Two eyeshadow items are available: NARS Single Eyeshadow 2095 (2,500 yen), which sparkles with rose and gold glitter, and NARS Duo Eyeshadow 3903 (4,200 yen), which combines pink lilac and violet. Meanwhile, matte blushes will be available in the soft beige "NARS Blush 2056" (3,000 yen) and neon pink "NARS Blush 4057" (3,000 yen).

Also available is the violet "Illuminating Multip" (4,800 yen), which was used as a key item in Kane's 15SS collection show. It adds a sheer sheen to the eyes, cheeks, and lips for a highlighting effect.

Other lip glosses will be available in four colors (3,000 yen each): neo pink "N 5602," cherry blossom pink "N 5603," fuchsia "N 5604," and neon coral "N 5605."
