Apr 21, 2015

Lexus exhibited "LEXUS - A JOURNEY OF THE SENSES" at Milan Design Week, the world's largest design exhibition, held in Milan, Italy from April 14th to 19th. It became the first automobile manufacturer to win the "Best Entertaining Award."

"LEXUS - A JOURNEY OF THE SENSES" is an exhibition themed around "Senses," offering visitors "a journey with LEXUS that will leave them feeling beyond their imagination." Created in collaboration with world-renowned space designer Philippe Nigro and internationally acclaimed chef Hajime Yoneda, the exhibition attracted approximately 50,000 visitors over the six-day period. The exhibition consists of three parts: the concept car "LF-SA," a prize-winning entry from the international design competition "LEXUS DESIGN AWARD 2015," and an installation themed on the five senses by chef Hajime Yoneda, who was awarded three Michelin stars in 2009, the shortest time in the world, and was also selected as one of "Asia's 50 Best Restaurants" in 2014.

In addition to comments from actual visitors, the official website also features interactive tour content that allows visitors to virtually experience each zone in about two minutes.
