A BATHING APE® and COMME des GARÇONS link up again for yet another exclusive collection, limited to BAPE STORE®COMME des GARÇONS OSAKA from Saturday, July 23rd, 2020!
In April 2020, "COMME des GARÇONS Osaka" relocated and reopened, and "BAPE STORE® COMME des GARÇONS OSAKA" opened, followed in June by the release of the first collaboration between the two brands. "A BATHING APE® BATHING APE® and COMME des GARÇONS have teamed up once again to release a limited collection that will be available exclusively at BAPE STORE® COMME des GARÇONS Osaka.
After successfully opening the new “BAPE STORE® COMME des GARCONS Osaka” location in the relocated and renewed “COMME des GARCONS Osaka” followed by the release of the fan crazed collaboration items, the two fashion icons are linking up yet again for another store exclusive collaboration.
The recent first collaboration, which saw the creation of "COMME des GARCONS CAMO," which incorporated both brands' branding into BAPE®'s original CAMO, is still fresh in our memories, but this time the collection has taken a complete turn with a simple design. The familiar APE HEAD with the "COMME des GARCONS" logo in a speech bubble style is a simple logo design that is the ultimate example of "simple is best," made possible only by a collaboration between two companies with such strong identities.
Motifs of both brands were incorporated into the BAPE® original CAMO to create the COMME des GARCONS CAMO, that wowed many in the first launch of the collaboration. For the second launch, items are simpler and chic. The COMME des GARCONS brand logo is spoken out of the signature APE HEAD's speech bubble-like design.
The products available this time are three types: T-shirts, striped long-sleeve T-shirts, and zip-up hoodies. The collection combines simple logos with classic items, making them sure to be in heavy rotation no matter the occasion.
Also, just like the previous collection, name tags have been specially produced with a premium design, featuring the logos of both brands, "A BATHING APE®" and "COMME des GARCONS," engraved on the label tag.
The launch consists of three items: T-shirts, striped long sleeve T-shirts, and zip-up hoodies.
