Boucheron will release four new "Plume de Paon" jewelry pieces, inspired by the lightness of peacock feathers, in mid-July.
While playing with peacock feathers, founder Frédéric Boucheron and his then-head of the workshop were captivated by their delicate beauty and came up with the idea for a necklace with a supple and free form. This motif, a symbol of life and lightness, has been repeatedly reinterpreted throughout its 160-year history through the Maison's creativity and expert craftsmanship. It is one of Boucheron's iconic collections, continually challenging the expression of fantasy and realism.
The four new pieces in the collection—a long necklace set with diamonds on a delicate chain, large earrings and a ring, and a claspless bracelet—are crafted using enamel and special assembly techniques developed in Boucheron's workshops. Each feather moves, embodying the suppleness and lightness of a real peacock feather. The rose-cut diamond, meticulously selected by Boucheron's gemologists, shines beautifully at the heart of the motif. These jewels, which gently rest against the skin, enhance the charm of the woman who wears them.
