Following on from last year, Nippan Segmo Co., Ltd. will be holding "Bungu Joshi-haku #InkNuma 2020," a stationery sales event specializing in ink, at the Gotanda TOC Building in Tokyo's Shinagawa Ward for three days from September 11th to 13th, 2020.

In recent years, interest in fountain pen ink has been growing, driven by the boom in handwritten posts on social media and the availability of affordable fountain pen product lineups. In response to this, we held the first "Bungu Joshi-haku #InkNuma," a sales event specializing in fountain pen ink, in August last year, attracting approximately 5,000 visitors over the three days. Based on the positive response on the day and many requests for a second event on social media, we have decided to hold the event again this year! Please look forward to "Bungu Joshi-Haku #InkNuma 2020," which will be even more powerful than last year.

This event will be held with the utmost care to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Not only will staff be taking their temperatures daily and wearing masks, but we also ask that you wear masks and disinfect your hands. Admission will be by advance ticket purchase to limit the number of visitors. Furthermore, we will limit the number of visitors per session to four per day, and take measures to ensure sufficient distance between visitors.

Depending on the spread of COVID-19, the event schedule and its execution may be subject to change. Please be aware of this before purchasing your advance ticket. Advance tickets are scheduled to go on sale in early August.

■Highlights of "Bungu Joshi-Haku #InkNuma2020"

1. The product lineup of local inks and glass pens has been enhanced!

Last year's "Local Inks," original products from stationery stores all over Japan, were a big hit. This year, the product lineup has been expanded even further! Local inks from all over Japan, created around the themes of local products and characteristics, will be gathered together in one place. Come and enjoy inks that you can usually only get your hands on in local stores.

"Glass pens" are a type of dip pen, a glass writing instrument that requires the nib to be dipped in ink before use. More and more people are fascinated by the unique transparency and artistic beauty of glass. They are also recommended for those who enjoy fountain pen ink, as they are easy to clean and refill after use. At this year's "Bungu Joshi-haku #InkNuma2020," the number of glass pen specialty exhibitors doubled from last year! You can also try out the pens at each booth.
