Bungu Joshi-haku 2018, Japan's largest stationery festival, will be held at the Tokyo Ryutsu Center for three days from December 14th to 16th.

Last year, Bungu Joshi-haku was first held as an event where people could see, touch, and buy stationery in person. Following its huge success, with a total of approximately 25,000 visitors over the three days, this year's event has been improved in both quality and quantity to create even more enjoyable content for stationery lovers across the country.
Popular events from previous years, such as the experience of binding your own original notebook, making fluorescent twin pens in your choice of colors, and a masking tape lottery, will also be updated. In addition, there will be a plethora of exciting content, including the "Stationery PINS Collection," pin badges with familiar stationery motifs that are sure to make you say, "Cute! Nostalgic!" and find yourself reaching for them without even realizing it, as well as stationery-themed sweets, a cafe in collaboration with Ginza Itoya's "Drink," and the "Taiwanese Girls' Market," which offers original products from Taiwanese creators and stationery stores.

"Stationery PINS Collection"You'll have to open the capsule to find out what you'll win. (1 time / ¥400)

A collaboration with "Drink," a handmade lemonade and juice bar located on the first floor of "G.Itoya," the main store of Ginza Itoya. In addition to the fresh lemonade, the most popular item at "Drink," two other venue-exclusive menu items will be available.
These drinks are "black" and "pink," named after a certain piece of stationery. You'll have to try them to find out what they taste like.
Also, don't miss the advance sale of "Shachihata Cheek," a unique cosmetic that you can stamp on your cheeks to create cute blush makeup.

"Shachihata Cheek," a collaboration between "Stationary Cosmetics," a cosmetics brand that produces collaborative products with various stationery manufacturers, and "Shachihata Name 9," will be available for advance sale at Bungu Joshi-Haku.
The greatest appeal of this event is that it not only allows you to purchase stationery, but also allows you to interact with exhibitors you wouldn't normally have the opportunity to meet, and also allows you to enjoy craft projects using stationery. This time, you can purchase stationery from all over the country, including products from exhibitors that are usually only sold in limited areas.
The official website (https://bungujoshi.com/) has a page for each exhibitor, introducing some of the products that will be on sale on the day. Information on limited-edition products that can only be purchased at this event and special experiences that can be experienced at the venue will also be announced from time to time.
Be sure to visit Bungu Joshi-Haku 2018, the place where you can make a wonderful encounter with stationery.
