J. Front Retailing is expanding the store network of its member general merchandise retailer, JFR PLAZA Inc. (Taipei), with the opening of its second store, "PLAZA TOKYO Eslite Xinyi Pop-Up Store," on August 6th and its third store, "PLAZA TOKYO SOGO Hsinchu Station Store," on August 23rd.

J. Front Retailing opened its first directly managed store, "PLAZA TOKYO SOGO Fuxing Store," on March 29th of this year. Based on the concept of "From Tokyo," the store offers high-quality made-in-Japan cosmetics, "PLAZA"-exclusive character merchandise, gift wrapping services, and more, winning the support of its main target audience of women in their 20s to 40s. Sales are steadily increasing.

The "PLAZA TOKYO Eslite Xinyi Pop-Up Store" is located in Taiwan's largest bookstore. It stocks approximately 1,000 items, including general merchandise and cosmetics, on a floor area of approximately 40 square meters. The store's unique features include a fresh, event-like product selection and store presentation, reminiscent of a limited-time pop-up store. The products and theme change significantly every month, appealing to the store's main target audience of women. The store's annual sales target is 72 million yen.

The "PLAZA TOKYO SOGO Hsinchu Station Store" will be located on the basement floor of Pacific Sogo Department Store. The spacious space of approximately 230m2 will sell approximately 6,000 items, including miscellaneous goods and cosmetics. The store's location in Hsinchu City, also known as Taiwan's Silicon Valley, is a popular destination for young customers. The store plans to offer a wide selection of confectionery, stationery, toys, and character goods. The store's annual sales target is 140 million yen.

J. Front Retailing is seeking to expand its "PLAZA" business into Southeast Asia, and has chosen Taiwan as a springboard. The store plans to open two more stores there by the end of the year.
