Cafe Comsa will be offering a limited edition shortcake made with ripe mangoes from Okinawa in July

Event Date:2020.07.22-07.26
Jul 15, 2020
Cafe Comme Ca, operated by Comme Ca Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Five Fox Co., Ltd., offers artistic cakes that capture the four seasons of Japan, using delicious, seasonal fruits carefully selected from farms and production areas across Japan. The 22nd of each month is designated as "Shortcake Day." This was chosen because the 15th is above the 22nd on the calendar, and strawberries (the 15th) are placed above the 22nd. This month, shortcakes made with ripe mangoes from Okinawa, which are in season at this time of year, will be available for a limited five-day period, starting on July 22nd and running until July 26th.

Okinawan mangoes, which can only be enjoyed at this time of year, are decorated like gorgeous ruffles and combined with fluffy sponge and lightly sweet fresh cream. You can enjoy the rich, melt-in-your-mouth sweetness and smooth texture of the mango.
Price (1 piece, tax included): 1,600 yen (1,800 yen at the Ginza store)

*The design below will be available at the Shibuya Seibu store, Honkawagoe Pepe store, Kashiwanoha T-SITE store, IIAS Tsukuba store, Takasaki OPA store and Emifull Matsumae store. Price (per piece, tax included): 850 yen

We offer cakes lavishly decorated with carefully selected seasonal fruits from production areas and farms all over Japan. We use juicy fresh fruit cut in-store that day, and keep the amount of sugar in the cream low to bring out the natural sweetness and flavor of the fruit. We create cakes full of artistic flair that allow you to feel the four seasons and events of Japan through the cakes, along with the seasonal fruit.
