What does the model name Anchar mean?


The fastest submarine in history The world's fastest submarine, the Soviet K-162 "Anchar," reached a speed of 44.7 knots (82.8 km/h) in trials in the 1970s. It reached a world speed of 160mph (400km/h), served with the Soviet Navy during the Cold War, and holds the speed record to this day.
