The Gucci Cruise 2025 fashion show was presented through the mind's eye of Creative Director Sabato de Sarno. Woven with his own memories and recollections of places, people and ideas, the new story reflects Gucci's long and meaningful connection to its heritage and the city, as well as his own personal experiences.

"Exploring creative direction means immersing yourself in an existing space and expressing your own perspective from room to room with the goal of reconstructing the building. Cruise Choosing London to show my collection was the right choice. I have gained so much from this city. It has accepted me and listened to me. The same is true for Gucci, whose founder was inspired by his experiences here. Gucci's return to this place stems from a desire to immerse itself in its unique essence, drawn by its creative drive: its limitless ability to combine, fuse, and make opposites coexist. Today, we are here to celebrate that spirit. Tate Modern perfectly embodies the essence of this city. Its great Turbine Hall welcomes and brings everyone together, and its tanks are generators of ideas."

The setting for the fashion show, Tate Modern, is a public space that connects different people and cultures, a place of exchange endowed with diversity and uniqueness that fosters unexpected encounters between objects and people. Just like The Savoy Hotel, which inspired the creative spirit of brand founder Guccio Gucci more than 100 years ago, Tate Modern has been renovated as a frame for art, and the building itself is a symbol of modernity.

And for this Gucci fashion show, the outside was brought inside. The exposed concrete tanks create a poetic landscape with a lush green hue. Here again, opposites are embraced: man and nature, sentimental and minimal, a reflection of the duality of London, and of life itself. The collection also features a symbolic use of contrasting elements.
