Seiko Watch Corporation will release a special limited edition model from Seiko Brightz, a brand aimed at globally-minded businessmen, in collaboration with Seiko employee athlete Ryota Yamagata, nationwide from July 17th. The suggested retail price is 143,000 yen (tax included) (130,000 yen excluding tax), and sales are limited to 610 units.

Seiko Brightz was launched in 2000 as a brand aimed at businessmen, at a time when globalization was on the rise. Since the brand's inception, the theme of product development has been "reliable basic performance and comfortable use as a wristwatch, thanks to Seiko's cutting-edge technology." Since its inception, Brightz has offered many models and has continued to support the wrists of businessmen competing on the world stage. Now, for global businessmen who travel the world stage, we are releasing a special limited edition model inspired by Seiko employee and world-class athlete Ryota Yamagata.

Product Features
■Special design featuring Yamagata standing in the lane, ready to go in the starting blocks

-Yamagata is known for his quick starts, and in keeping with that image, the navy blue dial is said to "increase concentration." The centre of the dial also features a striped pattern reminiscent of the straight track sprints that Yamagata competes in, representing the field of battle that continues in a straight line all the way to the finish line.
- Based on the "Sports Timing Yellow" motif, a symbol of Seiko in sporting events, the subdials for the chronograph seconds and minute hands at the 12 o'clock position feature gold accents. Additionally, in keeping with Yamagata's belief that "I only see the world beyond 10 seconds," the chronograph scale highlights the 0-9.99 seconds in yellow.
- The city code for Tokyo, home of Yamagata's team, "TEAM SEIKO," is highlighted in Seiko's Sports Timing yellow.
- Because time measurement is essential in track and field events, the watch employs the optimal chronograph caliber 8B92.
- The watch comes in special packaging with a hand-signed message card. Limited to 610 pieces, coinciding with Yamagata's birthday on June 10th, the case back bears the words "LIMITED EDITION" and Yamagata's signature, further enhancing the exclusivity of the limited edition model.

Seiko Brightz is a brand aimed at globally minded businessmen with an eye for discerning the essentials. Thanks to Seiko's cutting-edge technology and master craftsmanship, the watches offer reliable performance that grows more satisfying with use, comfortable usability, and a simple, sophisticated design that brings out the individuality of those who value their own style. The brand name "BRIGHTZ" is a combination of BRIGHT (bright and shining) and Z (pursuit, continuing).
