Dior opens new boutique in Azabudai Hills, featuring a rooftop garden reminiscent of the Les Rhumbs residence

Dior has opened a boutique in Garden Plaza C at Azabudai Hills.

The ties between Dior and Japan, forged since the Maison's founding, have been deepened with each passing fashion show and exhibition. The boutique inherits founder Christian Dior's deep admiration for Japan and its fascinating culture.

Echoing the pleats of an haute couture dress, the façade is adorned with flowing, layered threads – a tribute to excellence. This strikingly sophisticated building by Kengo Kuma & Associates is a poetic play of materials and colours, illuminated in a captivating shade of white.

Inside this unique building, the magic of Japanese craftsmanship is sublimated into this unique space. Flower petals decorate the space with infinite artistry, paying homage to the fleeting beauty of nature, while the walls are adorned with exquisite panels carved using the virtuoso "naguri" technique and "washi" paper, evocative of the art of weaving. On the roof of this extraordinary venue, a garden evokes the Hôtel Les Rhumbs in Granville, where Monsieur Dior nurtured his love of nature. This exceptionally exclusive location will spotlight the women's collections by Maria Grazia Chiuri and Fine Jewelry & Timepieces by Victoire de Castellane, alongside the iconic Lady Dior and limited-edition ready-to-wear and accessories from the Spring/Summer 2024 collection.
