Emporio Armani and m-flo's Taku Takahashi launch collaborative radio show

Jun 3, 2015

Emporio Armani, an Italian fashion brand that goes beyond the fashion world to offer compelling music content such as "EMPORIO ARMANI SOUNDS," has teamed up with block.fm, Japan's largest dance music radio station, hosted by m-flo's Taku Takahashi. The radio program, "#ASPIRE with EMPORIO ARMANI SOUNDS," is a collaboration between the two, and will begin airing on May 28th. Taku Takahashi will invite a different guest to talk on the fourth Thursday of each month, focusing on the theme of "#ASPIRE," which embodies the "driving force, vitality, yearning, and desire to carve out a path to the future." The program will also feature an original mix of music that matches the worldview of "EMPORIO ARMANI SOUNDS."

Emporio Armani has deep ties to music, having hosted a live performance by KIDNESS last year and using DJ Calvin Harris in its advertising visuals this year. Attention is focused on what kind of chemistry will emerge when it meets "block.fm."

The first episode will be extended by 30 minutes, from midnight to 1:30 a.m. In addition, each episode will feature a DJ mix created by a guest specifically for the show, which will be available for free on the official app. Furthermore, the talk content and behind-the-scenes stories can be viewed on the web and app after the episode airs.
