Lingerie brand Intimissimi opens art space at its Shibuya Bunkamura-dori store

Jun 24, 2020
Intimissimi, the sensual Italian lingerie brand gaining attention, is pleased to announce the limited-time opening of the "Intimissimi Art Space" at its largest store in Asia, the Shibuya Bunkamura-dori store. Approximately every 1.5 to 2 months, this art space will host artists curated by CTAG (Central Tokyo Arts Gallery), an up-and-coming art gallery gaining attention. The space will exhibit works by a variety of artists.

CTAG, which showcases the works and projects of urban artists, values "creating opportunities for people and society to actively engage with art." Intimissimi also hopes to provide the many people who visit its shops with an opportunity to experience firsthand, through this wonderful art space, art from artists around the world and the fashion expressed by Intimissimi.

The first artist to be featured in this art space will be Yoko Tsuru, a professor of the Ohara school of flower arrangement and flower arranging. She specializes in creating works that perfectly balance and harmonize traditionally opposing elements, such as "Japanese and Western" or "fresh and dried flowers," within a space.

What Intimissimi wants to deliver at Intimissimi Art Space is "Beyond Words," or in other words, "emotions that cannot be put into words." We hope that many people will come and enjoy the world of Intimissimi together through this wonderful art space.
