Palazzo Reale, Dolce & Gabbana and IMG have announced "From the Heart to the Hands: Dolce&Gabbana," the fashion house's first-ever exhibition bringing together unique creations that tell the artistic and creative story of Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana.

The exhibition will be open to the public from April 7 to July 31, 2024, at Palazzo Reale, a historic building that was once a royal palace in the heart of Milan, before traveling to some of the world's leading cultural centers. Curated by Florence Muller, promoted by the Milan Cultural Department, and produced by Palazzo Reale, home to numerous outstanding exhibitions, and IMG, a global leader in event planning, "From the Heart to the Hands: Dolce&Gabbana" is an unprecedented exhibition project that pays homage to the value of "Fatto a Mano" (Italian for handmade), which has been at the core of Dolce&Gabbana since its founding.
The exhibition follows the dream of Alta Moda, which the two founders of Dolce&Gabbana poured their hearts and hands into, and explores the source of its inspiration. It is imbued with a passion for Italian culture and a love of traditional craftsmanship reinterpreted from a modern perspective.
Each theme will focus on a wide range of cultural elements that have inspired the work of the two founding designers, including craftsmanship, visual arts and architecture, Italy and its traditions, innovation, theater, music, opera, ballet and La Dolce Vita (the sweet life). In addition, visual art works will be exhibited in dialogue with Dolce & Gabbana's iconic designs.
