Espace Louis Vuitton Tokyo will host "FIORUCCI MADE ME HARDCORE FEAT. BIG RED SOUNDSYSTEM," a solo exhibition by British artist Mark Leckey, from February 22, 2024 to August 18, 2024. This exhibition, part of the "Hors-les-murs" (Beyond the Walls) program, which displays works from the Fondation Louis Vuitton collection at Espace Louis Vuitton locations in Tokyo, Munich, Venice, Beijing, Seoul, and Osaka, fulfills the Fondation's intention to carry out international projects and make its works accessible to a wider audience.

Mark Leckey's diverse practice lies at the intersection of pop culture and counterculture, fusing youth, rave, pop, nostalgia, class studies, and British history, and, following the teachings of the readymade, fusing sculpture, video, sound, performance, and even collage. His work is truly worthy of recognition because it recognizes popular culture as something elevated, something interesting, and a source of genuine art.

We are pleased to announce that two works from the Fondation Louis Vuitton collection, Fiorucci Made Me Hardcore (10th Anniversary Remastered Edition) (1999-2003-2010) and Felix the Cat (2013), will be presented within the framework of the "Hors-les-murs" (Beyond the Walls) program.
