If wearing masks is going to become a part of everyday life from now on, fashionistas will look to wear them in a positive way by using them as an outfit accessory. This time, we've taken a look at the latest styling using masks from designer brands by a stylist from Isetan Mitsukoshi, who is proposing the "#MasksForEveryone" project! Be sure to use this as inspiration for your own mask outfits.

A pop "color-on-color" outfit to go with the "AKANE UTSUNOMIYA" mask

Isetan Shinjuku Main Building, 3rd Floor = Re-Style Stylist Natsumi Otsu
(Mask worn: Akane Utsunomiya)

Otsu: The checkered pattern on the mask from "AKANE UTSUNOMIYA" uses vibrant colors, so I styled it with the theme of "enjoying color." I tucked a white T-shirt under the slightly sexy dress to make it look casual. To avoid a mismatched overall impression, I chose pants that matched the color of the mask. Even though it's color-on-color, I kept the look light by wearing clear sandals.

AURALEE masks create a clean, one-tone look.

Isetan Shinjuku Main Building, 3rd Floor = Re-Style Stylist Natsumi Kawada
(Mask worn: AURALEE)

Kawada: I paired my AURALEE mask with a clean color and pattern with a dress from the same brand, which accentuates the beauty of my I-line and has just the right amount of transparency for a feminine look. I chose the same striped pattern as the mask to create a cool and refreshing outfit. The dress has a deep side slit, so I recommend layering it with pants. I chose flat sandals to avoid making the look heavy even when layered.

Enjoy matching "mister it." masks with matching patterned items

Isetan Shinjuku Main Building, 3rd Floor = Re-Style Stylist Natsumi Kawada
(Wearing mask: Mister It)

Kawada: To make the impactful "mister it." mask stand out, I kept the presence of coordinating items like a fly-front top and nude-colored pants to a subdued level. Adding a "mister it." bag cover made with the same scarf-patterned textile as a focal point prevents the mask from standing out from the rest of the outfit. The key is to keep the accessories you pair it with simple and elegant, such as light heels and delicate gold accessories.

The "leur logette" small floral print mask is the ultimate romantic look

Isetan Shinjuku Main Building, 3rd Floor = Re-Style Stylist Moeko Yanagawa
(Mask worn: leur logette)

Yanagawa: For the "leur logette" mask, I recommend pairing it with a girly, sweet outfit that makes the most of its romantic small floral motif. This time, I paired it with the brand's flower-motif cutwork dress. The pure white color and long length give it a soft, delicate impression, and when paired with this mask, it creates an even more innocent and cute mood that is characteristic of the brand.

FACETASM's unique masks are perfect for wearing like accessories.

Isetan Shinjuku Main Building, 3rd Floor = Re-Style Stylist Moeko Yanagawa
(Mask worn: FACETASM)

Yanagawa: "FACETASM" masks are sure to turn heads on the street! They feature a tiger pattern that's sure to grab attention. We recommend pairing an artistic mask like this with a basic outfit like a logo T-shirt and denim pants. By incorporating the mask as the focal point of your outfit, you can take your look to the next level.

Create an avant-garde, modern look with a geometric patterned mask from "kolor"

Men's Building 2F = Men's Creators Stylist Go Fukumura
(Wearing mask: kolor)

Fukumura: Geometric patterns have become a popular style in recent years, and they've also helped spark a trend in styles that focus on pattern-by-pattern combinations. I used a mask and shirt from kolor to create a trendy look, while adding black wide-leg pants and boots to tie the whole look together, creating an avant-garde, modern style.

A White Mountaineering botanical print mask accents a summer wool outfit.

Men's Building 6F = Men's Contemporary Stylist Ryo Yamanashi
(Mask worn: White Mountaineering)

Yamanashi: To make the botanical patterned mask from White Mountaineering the focal point, I chose a simple black set for my outfit. The high-quality summer wool material has a beautiful luster and creates a modern atmosphere.

AURALEE's nuanced color mask is stylishly paired with a gradient shirt

Men's Building 6F = Men's Contemporary Stylist Ryo Yamanashi
(Mask worn: AURALEE)

Yamanashi: This AURALEE mask is a "green-gray" color. The nuanced color tone matches perfectly with the gradient shirt, which stands out among the brand's Spring/Summer 2020 collection. The nuanced color mask shows different looks depending on the items you pair it with, making it easy to incorporate into a variety of styles and allowing you to coordinate smart, real-life clothing in a way that is characteristic of AURALEE.

The "amachi." masks are made of a linen blend material that exudes a modern, relaxed vibe.

Web Media & E-Commerce Assistant Manager Ayumi Matsuoka
(Wearing mask: Amachi)

Matsuoka: For my outfit, I chose outerwear, innerwear, and pants that match the color tone of the brown mask. The "amachi." mask is made from a textured linen blend material, which goes well with summer fashion items. I chose items with a loose silhouette, and tried to create a relaxed, modern look.

Create a cool and defined look with a "FilMelange" mask.

Web Media & EC Assistant Manager Ayumi Matsuoka
(Wearing mask: FilMelange)

Matsuoka: I put together this outfit with a cool, dark-colored mask from "FilMelange" as an accent. I chose refreshing blue items for the top and bottoms to create a contrast with the mask. This styling evokes the comfortable "NEW STANDARD LIFE" of a "smart shirt x pajama pants" look, which is recommended not only for going out on the town on the weekend but also for remote meetings.
