TUMI, the leading international travel and lifestyle brand, will completely renovate TUMI Omotesando and open its first flagship store in the Asia Pacific region on December 21, 2023. Located in Tokyo's luxury fashion district of Omotesando, the store is the brand's first global concept store inspired by TUMI's iconic 19 Degree collection.

TUMI Omotesando features an eye-catching, distinctive store design, with a sales area of approximately 160 square meters on the first floor and a variety of elegant design elements. The 19 Degree collection features a three-dimensional, beveled case design inspired by the moment when the fluid elements of nature intersect with the precise lines of architecture. The store concept, inspired by the collection, features new styles of 19 Degree backpacks, minaudières, briefcases, and more. Original artwork by Michael Murphy, a pioneer of perceptual art, is displayed in the center of the store. The full-height LCD displays and circular sofas create an art gallery-like atmosphere, allowing customers to enjoy a relaxing shopping experience.

The 19 Degree collection's signature flowing curves and cutting-edge craftsmanship are embodied in the store's exterior and decorative columns, crafted from 250 aluminum panels with specially processed rounded edges. At night, the exterior facade is illuminated by more than 200 LED lights. Michael Murphy's multi-dimensional artwork, exhibited inside the store, transforms a 19 Degree aluminum luggage bag into the TUMI "T" logo depending on the viewing position, exploring the brand's creative and cultural universe.

The store features innovative materials such as premium marble-effect flooring and sleek stainless steel, and the TUMI "T" motif is featured on in-store fixtures, including a 2.4-meter-long customer service demonstration table. Streamlined fixtures with rounded corners create a warm ambiance, and new fixtures, such as a magnetic wall with seasonally changing displays, add depth to the store in addition to Murphy's artwork.

In addition to the 19 Degree collection, the store will feature high-end premium business and travel products and new Spring 2024 styles inspired by Singapore's vibrant energy. The new women's handbag collection, Asra, will be available, as well as vibrant new colors for Voyageur, Georgica, 19 Degree and travel accessories.
