The first official ordering site in Japan for New York-based artist and founder of "Art on Block," Ben Lenovitz, will open on June 12th. Ben Lenovitz was born to Julie Gaines and Dave Lenovitz, founders of the long-established Brooklyn, NY, tableware brand and shop, Fishs Eddy, and grew up surrounded by art from an early age. He graduated from SUNY New Paltz in New York with a degree in fine arts before beginning his artistic career.
His humorous works, which combine pop and folk art with motifs of animals such as cats and dogs, quickly became a hot topic, and his diverse range of work has led to him providing work for popular TV shows such as "Will & Grace" and "Master of None," as well as illustrating the book "Minding the Store" published by Alogonquin's Workman Publishing.
On this official order site, you can submit a photo of your beloved pet through the order form on the site. As a special service, Ben Lenovitz will then create a new illustration, one by one, just for you, and the artwork will be delivered to you.
