The all-night outdoor film festival, "Forest Film Festival 2015," will be held on October 3rd at "Beruga," a famous water park in Ojiro Forest, Hakushu, Yamanashi Prefecture. The first lineup of films to be screened and stage information have recently been announced.

The first "Forest Film Festival 2015," held last year, attracted over 1,000 people. Last year's stage production matched the style of the terrain and environment, but this year, with the concept of "From watching a movie to a movie experience," the festival aims to create an extraordinary space where viewers can enjoy films in the unique worldview of each stage.

Information about each stage has also been released. The main stage, "MIDNIGHT GARDEN," will feature feature-length films and stage projects. Sub-stages will screen short films, including "MYSTERY FOREST," focusing on horror and fantasy, "ROMANTIC VALLEY," focusing on romantic comedies and human dramas, and "BURNING SQUARE," focusing on action and sci-fi. It promises to be a magical day with films screening throughout the forest. Also announced as part of this year's lineup is Tim Burton's fantasy film "Big Fish" (2003), one of the feature films to be screened on the main stage. Based on Daniel Wallace's best-selling novel, the film stars Ewan McGregor and features a star-studded cast, including Burton's wife, Helena Boheme-Carter. This moving tale of a father and son weaves fantasy and reality. The film's score, nominated for Best Original Score at the 76th Academy Awards, is also a must-see. Additionally, there will be "MORIS MARKET," which will feature workshops themed around the festival's official mascot, and "POPCORN BEAR'S KITCHEN," a food court themed around the festival's official mascot, Popcorn Bear. Tickets will go on sale on Peatix from June 29th.
