■ "Self-Portraits" by Vivian Maier

In 2007, John Maloof, a young real estate agent, purchased a cardboard box filled with photographic negatives at an auction. Upon scanning the negatives, images of Chicago's cityscape and its people from around the 1950s emerged. Upon tracing the photographer, he discovered that the photographs were secretly taken by a housekeeper, Vivian Maier, who had already passed away. This discovery led to the release of the documentary film "Finding Vivian Maier," which John himself directed, and made her a legendary street photographer.

This book is a collection of her self-portraits. Rather than focusing on herself, each photograph focuses on the composition that includes her and the shapes around her, and you can enjoy trying to find where she appears in the photo.
