Benelic Co., Ltd. will begin accepting pre-orders for limited quantities of T-shirts (22 types in total) from the 2020 Spring/Summer Collection of "GBL," a brand that features products featuring characters and motifs from Studio Ghibli works, at its online shop, Donguri Republic Soranoue Store, from June 12, 2020.
The ever-popular T-shirts will be on sale in their third Spring/Summer collection in 2020, with a total of 22 designs based on motifs from nine films: "Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind," "Castle in the Sky," "My Neighbor Totoro," "Kiki's Delivery Service," "Porco Rosso," "Whisper of the Heart," "Princess Mononoke," "Spirited Away," and "The Secret World of Arrietty." This year's theme is "distressed," and we offer a rich lineup of 28 items, including various colors, centered around designs with a vintage feel. The material is 2.5-inch cotton jersey, which is smooth to the touch and breathable. The silhouette is a timeless American style, making it easy to mix and match. To reduce stretching, the neck is reinforced with herringbone tape from the shoulder lines to the back of the neck, making it durable enough to withstand heavy use. The product is finished with a stone wash, giving it a soft feel and a worn-in feel like a vintage garment.
