With the same commitment to quality as Isetan Mitsukoshi, Hi TAILOR offers a simple way to find high-quality business wear, combining measurements and easy customization via smartphone.

Hi TAILOR was born from the desire to provide a convenient way to choose a shirt or suit, eliminating the high barrier to entry and hassle associated with traditional customization services. Its primary user base is business people in their 20s and 30s. To help busy users both at work and at home better utilize their valuable time and energy, Hi TAILOR offers a simple, online, non-store service with an ordering process.

Like the custom-made shirts launched in October 2019, Hi TAILOR's custom-made suits, launched in June, are measured using automated measurements without manual intervention. Ordering is completed simply by selecting the fabric (or design), taking two photos of yourself, entering your height and weight, and selecting the fit. Since all customizations follow the "Hi TAILOR STANDARD" standard design and specifications, anyone, regardless of their level of expertise, can easily enjoy the ordering service.

In developing the suits, we pursued a dignified appearance based on "traditional British tailoring." While based on British style, the suits are tailored to a sharp impression that is not too stiff and is in line with the modern era. Another distinctive feature is the strict attention to fabric quality, with only standard colors such as navy blue, gray, and black selected. Utilizing the insight and knowledge of Mitsukoshi Isetan buyers and veteran stylists, we have put together a lineup that will look good no matter what style you choose.


[Key Points of Hi TAILOR's Custom-Made Suits]

1. The optimal size is selected from patterns stored in a database.
Measurements are taken automatically, with no human intervention required, and measurements can be completed with just two photos of yourself, one from the front and one from the side. By comparing the measurement data with Hi TAILOR's original pattern data, a suit can be tailored to each individual customer. Pattern data is available in 500 types for jackets and 60 types for pants. The optimal size is suggested from approximately 30,000 combinations on the cloud.

2. We have a selection of fabrics and customizations so you can be sure of a perfect choice.
We have selected around 90 different fabrics, including navy blue, gray, and black. The lineup is designed to look neat and tidy. For the fabrics in the mid-price range, we have commissioned Kuzuri Woolen Industries, a long-established textile factory beloved by many tailors, and we use fabrics that are specially made to order by Hi TAILOR. We want you to be able to choose freely, so we have deliberately avoided extreme designs for customizations such as buttons and linings and have only carefully selected a certain number of options.

3. Products are developed by utilizing all of Isetan Mitsukoshi's knowledge.
Products are supervised by Enrico Mezzadori, director of a world-renowned dress clothing brand. For manufacturing, we have enlisted the cooperation of Century Technocore Hirosaki Factory, which has extensive knowledge and know-how in custom orders, and provide a one-stop service from pattern development onwards. By teaming up with this company, we have been able to focus not only on design but also on auxiliary materials that directly affect comfort, achieving the right product at the right price. The median price range for suits will be 45,000 yen.

You can purchase it as is, or enjoy customizing it to your liking.

2. Decide on your size ｜ Measurements are taken with just two photos.
Enter your height and weight, and take front and side photos of yourself following the online guidance. After the photos are taken, select your preferred fit and finish.

3. Products arrive in as little as 3 weeks
Produced products will be shipped directly from the factory to the customer.
