Operation Factory Co., Ltd., which operates Japan's first stores such as "Milk, a Fresh Cream Specialty Store" and "Moc Tram, a Fresh Tapioca Specialty Store," will open a new brand, "Taiwanese Castella Specialty Store Pong Pong," a first for the Kansai region, on June 12, 2020.

The brand name "Pong Pong" is pronounced "Pong Pong" and means "Fluffy and fizzy."
"Taiwanese Castella," known locally as "Xiankao Dangao (Current Baked Egg Cake) = Freshly Baked Cake," is made with plenty of meringue, and by incorporating plenty of air and baking it slowly for 90 minutes, it achieves a dreamy, happy combination of the "rich egg flavor of Castella" and the "fluffy texture of chiffon cake."
