In the summer of 2020, Isetan Mitsukoshi's clearance sale will be changing. In order to ensure the safety and security of customers, the store will no longer start sales all at once as in the past. Instead, sales will start gradually on each floor and brand, in an effort to alleviate concentrated congestion on certain days.

In addition, the clearance sale will start on the online store from June 9th. We will introduce a wide selection of products so that customers can enjoy shopping "whenever and wherever they like" without having to visit the store.

About the "2020 Summer Clearance Sale"

1. Changes from the previous sale
● Change in in-store period: There will be no set "start date" for the clearance sale.
Previously, the sale started all at once on a specific day, but this year there will be no set start date. We will consult with our business partners on the optimal period for the sale, and hold it over staggered periods. *Start and end dates will vary depending on the floor and brand. ● Enhanced online store sale: Available whenever and wherever you like.
An online clearance sale will begin on June 9th at the Isetan Mitsukoshi Online Store. The Isetan Mitsukoshi Online Store is a new, more powerful site that combines the previously separate Mitsukoshi and Isetan e-commerce sites. As the sale runs from June 9th until the end of August, we plan to gradually add new products and change special features. 。

- Live Commerce Implementation
To make the clearance sale even more enjoyable, we will be implementing measures such as live commerce (several live commerce events are planned for late June, focusing mainly on food items). While utilizing digital technology, we plan to continue challenging ourselves with new approaches that foster person-to-person connections and customer participation.
