The TOMBOY-themed collection was photographed at the National Library of France in Paris, which was built before the French Revolution. The tomboyish looks featured in the opening and finale reflect Hedi Slimane's strong commitment to consistency in style and the allure of androgynous tailoring since he began his career as a designer in the late '90s.

The National Library of France (BnF) is located across from the Celine atelier on Rue Vivienne in Paris's 2nd arrondissement. BnF is one of France's oldest cultural institutions. Originally a royal library, it became the National Library after the French Revolution and has inherited the collections of the French monarchy since the late Middle Ages.

The Documents and Music Reading Room inside the National Library of France is a masterpiece by French architect Henri Labrouste, built between 1861 and 1868. Since 1983, it has been home to the National Institute of Art History (INHA), and its main courtyard, the Cour d'Honneur, is lined with buildings from various periods. The façade is by the 18th-century architect Robert de Cotte, while the neoclassical south and west façades are by Henri Labrouste. The glass gallery, designed by architect Bruno Godin, leads to the reading rooms of the Archives and Music Department. Leading architects such as Jean-Louis Pascal, Michel Roux-Spitz, Bruno Godin, Virginie Brégal and Jean-François Ragueneau have taken turns overseeing the renovation of the BNF.

The soundtrack for the collection features "TOO MUCH LOVE" by New York band LCD Soundsystem. "TOO MUCH LOVE" is featured on LCD Soundsystem's groundbreaking eponymous debut album, released in January 2005, and remains one of the most influential sounds in the indie electronic music and club scenes to this day.
