Dior Homme, under creative director Kris Van Assche, presented its new collection at the Paris Municipal Tennis Court on the border between Paris and Boulogne-Billancourt.

To the sound of Kasvetli Kutlama's "She Past Away," the runway, planted with approximately 2,000 white roses, showcased the finished product of sporty, military-inspired couture wear. Various men's fashion codes, such as camouflage and argyle, were incorporated into the authentic look, subtly mixing typically rugged pieces like bomber jackets and work pants with countless pockets. The collection also added a playful touch, with argyle inlaid with camouflage and camouflage mixed with floral outlines.

Another eye-catching piece was the lucky charm necklace, inspired by the work of Christine McCurdy, a ceramic artist from the 1950s, when Monsieur Christian Dior was active. The color palette was inspired by military wear, using khaki, navy, and the orange lining of bomber jackets, with the addition of red and yellow for a vibrant impression. It was a collection that was typical of Dior Homme, proposing clothes for a new bourgeoisie.

Kris Van Assche himself announced the closure of his signature brand at the end of last month, but we hope that by concentrating on Dior Homme from now on, his creations will be even more fulfilling than ever before.
