Artist Asami Kiyokawa's "Kiyokawa Asami Exhibition" will be held at the Eki Kyoto Museum of Art from January 21st to February 14th. Kiyokawa continues to create works with a unique worldview, embroidering portraits and beloved paperbacks. She has also created the title video and heroine posters for the NHK drama series "Beppin-san." This will be her first solo exhibition in Kyoto. In addition to her signature works "Beauty Collection" and "TOKYO Monster," the exhibition will also feature "Our Stories," in which she embroiders the most memorable pages of 100 books, and "I:I," which inverts the negatives and positives of images posted on Kiyokawa's Instagram to create a complex expression of the memories and psychological backgrounds. In addition, works featured in "Beppin-san" will also be on display. Chocolates exclusive to the exhibition will also be available for purchase at the venue.
